CREO Renewable

Affordable Low cost Renewable heating packages

Why use renewable systems?

Creo Renewables has selected to use renewable and low energy systems to help reduce running costs and CO2 emissions in all its buildings. Most `traditional` boiler / radiator systems have served well in the past, but we must all look to reducing emissions of CO2. The systems used by Creo achieve this and significantly reduce running costs. This creates a win-win situation for all who use such systems, and the environment.

Air to Water Heat Pumps

Single Phase up to 18kw

Air-to-water heat pumps are very simple to install and produce more output than they use. This results in very economical hot water for space heating and domestic hot water, with significant savings on running costs. Best results are achieved when used in conjunction with under floor heating, but modern Air-to-water heat pumps can be fitted to radiator circuits if required. A correctly sized Air-to-water heat pump also reduces CO2 emissions.

Thermal Stores

Thermal store with solar coil

Thermal stores are being selected for more and more projects as they offer many benefits over old style `traditional` hot water cylinders. The Thermal store is never emptied of its precious hot water, just some heat taken for Domestic hot water via an in-built heat exchanger. This enables the Thermal store to deliver better economy in use, and is ideal when used in conjunction with Heat pumps. As the Thermal store is a sealed circuit in conjunction with the heat source and the Hot water is created by mains cold water passing through an internal heat exchanger, there is no issue of legionella. The system when used with Heat pumps operates at approx. 55°C, and as the internal water is not mixed with the mains cold / Hot DHW, there is no need risk of cross contamination. Again running at lower temperatures reduces the running costs and reduces CO2 emissions

Under-floor heating

Modern 'Dry-fit' Floating Under Floor System

Under-floor heating is being selected and installed in a growing number of projects from domestic through to Commercial applications. Some of its advantages are lower temperature water 30ºC - 35ºC through the system resulting in significantly lower running costs, more even heating zones without `cold areas` away from traditional radiators, no `hot` surface therefore reducing the opportunity of burns in warden properties or other situations with at risk people. It can also be used in conjunction with solar thermal systems to offset the running costs of heating during winter months due to its low flow temperature demands. Selecting the correct system can also make significant reductions in noise transmission within multi dwelling buildings (flats, offices etc) and make reductions on the heating systems CO2 emissions.

Solar Thermal

Solar thermal systems are a great way to reduce running costs of DHW (Approx. 50% Per Year), and more so when used with under-floor heating systems. Modern dry fit or `floating floor` systems operate at lower temperatures than `traditional `screed systems. This enables the UFH system to utilise the solar energy / hot water produced by the Solar thermal systems to off-set the main heat source during day times in winter, again reducing running costs and CO2 emissions
