Insulated Concrete Forms

A general feeling of well being.The creo system perfectly insulates the living area keeping the internal temperature stable and does not vary between the centre of room and those areas close to the walls. There is no tendency as with traditional constructionfor the walls to draw out heat. The ability of the walls to breath naturaly ensuring that the humidity remains consistent and does not increase.

Warm in winter cool in summer - Traditional construction methods allow cold into the living areas in winter. Insummer a traditional brick skin insulated wall can reach 70°C. The creo wall insulation ensures that in summer the maximum temperature increases by 2°C or less.

The walls can be constructed using 6 different types of creo blocks with four different wall thicknesses. The creo block locks together without any form of glue or adhesive and is then filled with either ordinary or sustainable concrete to form a wall with a thickness ofbetween 30 and 40 cm. Up to 5 floors may be built using any width of wallblock.

Longevity - Laboratory tests simulating 100 years in the open have shown no tendency for Neopor to degrade.The same cannot be said for traditional materials.Concrete in particular will crack if exposed to the elements and a range of temperature differentials.This allows water ingress and an even quicker rate of deterioration. The creo system protects the internal concrete from both weather penetrations and fluctuations in temperature.

Healthy safe and environmentally friendly - Neopor is completely inert and does not harm the body in any way. It is hardly surprising that it is used to package many different types of food stuff. The stable temperature within the creo house inhibits condensation and the growth of mould. This is particularly important in reducing allergic reactions. The excellent thermal qualities of creo homes mean less fuel consumption and fewer emissions.

Quick and easy construction- The ‘Lego’ type constructionsystem simply clicks together without theuse of adhesive or bonding agents providing a preciseand accurate receptacle into which ordinary or sustainable concrete can be easily poured. On averageeach floor takes only 1 or 2 days to complete.The routes for the service pipes and cables can easily be cut using a creo hot knife. The working areas remain clean and the work can be undertaken in anoise and rubbish free environment.
